Frequently Asked Questions
Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions about the process and my approach. I’ve gathered them here to make things clearer and more comfortable for you.
-
I personally handle all emails to keep this process thoughtful and personal. My goal is to make sure we both feel comfortable and find the best way to bring your idea to life, so responses may take a little time as I’m also tattooing and designing daily. Thank you for your patience.
I may decline a project if it’s not aligned with my style or if I feel it wouldn’t translate well as a tattoo. In that case, another artist might be a better fit.
If your idea is a good match, I’ll provide an approximate price along with suggestions to refine and elevate the design. Even if you decide not to move forward, I kindly ask that you let me know — I truly appreciate it.
Once we finalize the idea, we’ll choose a date that works for both of us and secure your appointment.

Simply fill out the request form on my website and share your idea. I’ll get back to you with my thoughts and guide you through every step and answer any questions along the way.

Calm and pressure-free.
I work in a private studio and pay close attention to atmosphere, details, and your comfort throughout the session.
Clients often tell me that the process was much more comfortable than they expected — and that is one of the most meaningful compliments for me.
-
I create custom tattoos with a calm, thoughtful approach — focusing on fine details, natural placement on the body, and designs that age beautifully over time. Each piece is made with care, in a private and comfortable studio.
-
I accept Zelle, CashApp, and cash. I do not accept card and cash checks.
-
ItI always ask for a booking fee. It will be deducted from the final price. Without the booking fee the appointment is not saved and will be removed after a while. This fee is not refundable but I offer to move the appointment once without losing it (if said at least 2 weeks before).
-
I started tattooing in 2017.
In 2026, it will be 9 years since tattooing became not just my profession, but also my passion and an essential part of my life. It’s something I genuinely can’t imagine myself without.
-
I don’t work by the hour.
Each project is priced as a whole, because every tattoo process is different.
People have different pain tolerance, skin reactions, and needs for breaks — none of that fits into an hourly system. You’re paying for the result, quality, and experience — not for a timer.
-
No. I work with clients 18+ only.
This is part of my studio policy and reflects my thoughtful and responsible approach to tattooing as a lifelong decision.
-
I usually open my booking 4–5 months in advance and am typically fully booked about 3 months ahead.
For this reason, I recommend booking early — especially for larger or more detailed projects. -
Balance.
Balance between aesthetics, anatomy, and the client’s inner meaning.
It’s important to me that a tattoo works with the body, not against it — and that it stays beautiful not only on day one, but many years later.
-
Yes.
Even in larger projects (such as sleeves), I often work with a single needle.
It gives me maximum control, softness, and extremely clean detail.
This approach requires more focus and experience, but it allows me to create tattoos that feel light, delicate, and refined — especially in fine line and ornamental work.
-
Yes, always (if you don’t have an allergy).
Second skin is one of the best healing options available today.
For the first 3 days after your session, you don’t need to do anything — the tattoo is protected, swelling is reduced, and healing is noticeably easier, especially for first tattoos.
-
There is no real difference :)
Color is applied at the very end of the session, after all outlines and shading.
By that time, the body is simply more tired — which is why it may feel more sensitive. The color itself isn’t more painful.
-
I get this question often.
For fine line work, numbing cream used before the session can actually do more harm than good. It makes the skin denser and harder to work with, which affects how fine needles enter the skin.
If needed, I always apply professional numbing gels or sprays during the session — this is included in the price, and I use only tattoo-specific, safe products.
If you have any questions, you can include them in your tattoo request or reach out through the contact form. I’ll be happy to answer.
Warm regards,
Irene
